Stimulus The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) provides approximately $100 billion for education.
Federal Funding The U.S. Department of Education distributes Entitlement and Competitive funds to states and school districts based upon need. Click to learn more about Federal Entitlements and Competitive Grant Programs.

State Funding
State Education Agencies (SEA) apply to the U.S. Department of Education for formula and competitive grant funds. The SEA then distributes those funds to Local Education Agencies (LEA). To find funding opportunities in your state, such as Assistive Technology, select your state from the drop down menu to the right to connect to your State Department of Education web site.

Private Funding
Charitable organizations and corporate foundations provide grants for educational causes such as literacy, technology, and professional development. Listed are some private grant opportunities that you may find helpful.
